This modulation factory was grown from the fertile ground of the hit Specular Tempus and reaches even further yet to a new level of audio superiority and processing power, thanks to an immaculately designed dual-engine DSP platform. Synesthesia represents more than a year's worth of diligent work by Henry to create a flawless hardware platform and the gorgeous modulation algorithms that shine within it. With extensive dual-engine power comes new features and controls that elevate the modulation experience of the Synesthesia for maximum adaptability. A simple control surface creates an intuitive sense for adjustment and each knob also serves as a switch when pressed for advanced functions. For example, the order of the DSP engines can be flipped simply by holding the X and Y knobs down. Synesthesia ships with a current collection of 22 factory presets, with more user-requested presets to be added in later firmware updates (user performed via USB port). A full range of expressive creativity over these many sounds has been carefully looked after. Synesthesia's parameters can be warped and user-defined expression inputs, as well as CV Sources, can be used to develop responsive and integrated uses with other devices. Synesthesia offers multiple stereo configurations along with DSP routing configurations for cascading, mixed and split DSP outputs. Tap-tempo with divisions is a notable given.
