The GigRig MIDI Driver

MIDI Driver Used in conjunction with TheGigRig G2 app, the MIDI Driver wirelessly connects your iOS device to G2. You can then display and edit patch names, back up all the settings on your G2 as well as operating your G2 remotely, all through the bluetooth on your IOS device What would I use the MIDI Driver for? The MIDI Driver allows you to connect your IOS device wirelessly to your G2 using TheGigRig MIDI + App. its also great if you need to use MIDI cables over a long distance, say 10m or more, as it will buffer the MIDI signal ensuring no degradation of the MIDI signal with long cables How do I connect to my IOS device In the MIDI + App, you'll see the settings button on the bottom right. Press this and you'll see the Bluetooth button. This will show you the M1 Bluetooth device in the list. Connect to this device. MIDI Driver comes in response to G2 users asking us for a way to display patch names on a screen, but we've done a lot more than that. Used in conjunction with our G2 MIDI + App, not only does your IOS device become the screen for your G2, you are also able to operate your G2 remotely, as well as – crucially – being able to store and recall an almost infinite number of preset/pedalboard configuration settings… all via an iOS device. MIDI Driver connects to G2 via the MIDI ports (allowing further MIDI through connections if necessary). It connects wireless to your iOS device via the G2 App. GigRig G2 MIDI+ is an iOS application available from Apple's App Store. It is a powerful CoreMIDI compliant MIDI event capture, librarian, cue display and event replay utility. It enables you to capture MIDI events from hardware, network or from other apps.
