XP8-PS The 1 Spot Pro XP8-PS is just like the XP5-PS, except it has 8 outputs instead of 5. Each output provides 9Vdc of studio-clean power and can handle at least 500mA of current draw per output. Measuring 133x88x30mm (5.24x3.46x1.18”) and weighing only 459 grams (16.19oz or about 1lb), it can be easily attached to a pedalboard using only Vel-Cro. Because of its low profile, the XP8 can be mounted under most pedalboards, or be used as a pedal riser on top of a board. With 2 linked input jacks, you can power a second XP8 or XP5 by simply connecting a DC cable. Input Voltage 12Vdc 4.0A. External power supply (included with XP8-PS) must have a 5.5x2.1mm barrel plug, center pin positive. The XP8 is also designed to be powered directly from the output on the back of a 1 SPOT Pro CS11, provided the total current load connected to the XP8 is 2.5A or less. Cables The 1 SPOT Pro XP8-PS includes an assortment of DC cables. The cables are of various lengths, color-coded for easy cable management and with right angle plugs on the pedal end. Power cables (all are center pin negative polarity): (2) DC26 (5.5x2.1mm barrel plugs; 26” (660mm) – Purple (4) DC18 (5.5x2.1mm barrel plugs; 18” (457mm) – White (2) DC12 (5.5x2.1mm barrel plugs; 12” (305mm) – Yellow International Adapter The XP8-PS comes with a 12Vdc, 4.0A external power adapter. This adapter has 4 interchangeable plugs for use in most regions of the world. Instructions on how to change the plugs is included in the user manual. If you ever need to replace your external power adapter, you may purchase one from Truetone here. Available Output Voltages All 8 outputs are 9VDC, 500mA. Can the 1 SPOT Pro power my pedal? That question can best be answered by looking at the following questions and notes… Which output and settings do I use for my pedals? It is important for you to know the power requirements for your pedal. For every pedal that you are going to power via the 1 SPOT Pro XP8-PS, you need to know the following: What is the voltage required by the pedal? Does the pedal require AC or DC voltage? What is the polarity of the pedal? (Center pin positive or negative.) These questions can usually be answered by: 1. Inspecting the pedal itself near the power jack. 2. Referring to the owner’s manual. 3. Checking online, or contacting the manufacturer 4. If your pedal can be powered by a 9Vdc battery, it can be powered by one of the 9Vdc outputs. Notes on using certain pedals with the 1 SPOT Pro XP8-PS: -The vast majority of pedals use 9Vdc. Check your pedals to make sure they require 9Vdc, as that is the voltage on all outputs of the XP8. -Eventide Factor pedals and H9/H90 may be powered with the addition of the CL6 converter (sold separately) for proper DC jack tip size and polarity. -Line 6 M9 will also require the CL6 converter plug (sold separately). -Line 6 M5 may be powered without a converter plug. -Line 6 HX series and POD Go require a C2.5 converter (sold separately). Please note, although these pedals can be powered by a single output, we recommend using 2 outputs combined using a Truetone MC2 cable (sold separately) to split the current load. -If additional analog 9Vdc pedals need to be powered, a Truetone Multi-Plug cable (sold separately) may be connected to any of the 9Vdc outputs depending on mA draw. If additional pedals need isolation, you may purchase another Truetone XP8 or XP5 expansion box which connects to the second input of the XP8. The XP5 has 5 isolated and filtered outputs, while the XP8 has 8. -Pedals that do not have a power jack, yet are powered normally by a 9Vdc battery, may be connected using a CBAT converter (sold separately). -Digitech Whammy: Version 5 or Whammy DT may be powered without a converter plug. Versions 1-4 cannot be powered by an XP5. -Radial Tonebone 15Vdc pedals can only be powered by using a Truetone Voltage Doubler cable (model TVD – sold separately), and using a Reverse Polarity Converter (model CYR – sold separately). Dimensions: 133 x 88 x 30mm (5.24 x 3.46 x 1.18”); 488 grams (1.075 lbs.) - weight and dimensions of power supply only, not including cables or packaging. Bedienungsanleitung
